Calder Grove
The Crigglestone Junction to Horbury Bridge branch overbridge crossing Denby Dale Road at Calder Grove, immediately after Crigglestone junction, with the Thornhill to Notton line viaduct in distance. The latter crossed the British Oak disposal point's canal coal staith spur and exchange sidings, Denby Dale Road, and the Horbury Junction to Barnsley line. Standing at the crossroads in the centre of the picture there is a rail overbridge visible a short distance along all four roads. See images 28081 and 28877 for views of the other two bridges.
