Darlington Locomotive Works
A winter's day in the yards at Darlington works in early 1960. On the left is one of the large Gresley A8 4-6-2 tanks, no 69873, (rebuilt from the original Raven NER D class 4-4-4T) withdrawn from 54A Sunderland South Dock and cut up here in February of that year.
