Ballachulish Shed
Branch locomotive of the time epitomised. Ex-CR 0-4-4T no 55173 looking relaxed on shed at Ballachulish in September 1960. The line between Connel Ferry and Ballachulish was closed completely in 1966. The shed survives [caption written in 2010 - the shed was demolished in 2013] see image 23931 as does the former station building (now the local health centre).
