Shed scene at Leicester Midland (15C) in May 1961. Nearest the camera is B1 4-6-0 no 61182 of March shed (31B), whose locomotives had taken over Leicester - Peterborough workings following closure of Peterborough's Spital Bridge shed (31F) two years earlier. The long building in the right background on the other side of the Midland main line is the Leicester National Carriers depot.
