Leicester Midland MPD
BRCW Type 2 no D5377 on the turntable in the then still relatively new roundhouse at Leicester Midland shed on Saturday 1st November 1969. This locomotive ended its working life as 27030 based at Glasgow's Eastfield shed, from which it was eventually withdrawn in April 1986. Ironically its final resting place was back in Leicester, not far from this location, at Vic Berry's scrapyard, where it was cut up in October 1987.
