Ansdell and Fairhaven

There is little trace these days of the four tracks that used to pass through Ansdell and Fairhaven, the houses on the right of this picture having been built on the old trackbed. This view looks west from a modern footbridge and the remaining face of the island platform can be seen beyond the road bridge. Unfortunately the scheduled service to Blackpool South did not appear for the picture.
