Nottingham Midland Shed
46100 Royal Scot stored on Nottingham shed on 21 October 1962. The locomotive was subsequently transferred to Carlisle Kingmoor and continued in service for a further two and a half years until finally withdrawn by BR in April 1965. The locomotive is now preserved see image 22991.
