Bonnyton Junction
Looking West on the old Dalry line from the Western Road bridge in Kilmarnock, with preparations well advanced for the new run-round loop. Could the wall that has been unearthed be the platform mentioned by Hugh Delahunt? [Hugh could you send another message - we had no luck with your email address.] If memory serves, this is nothing more than a retaining wall adjacent to what was the old Dalry line Up loop.
