Preston
The up Highland Sleeper, with through sleeping cars from Fort William, Inverness and Aberdeen, calls at Preston station around 0430 hrs on 23 June behind EWS 90026. At this point the driver of what became a combined 15 coach train at Edinburgh Waverley prepares to hand over to a colleague for the remainder of the journey to London Euston.
