Preston
The low geared variety of Freightliner 66s are the regular motive power for the daily Shap Hardendale Quarry to Guide Bridge train of stone for Network Rail. On 7th September 2018 66605 took the train through Preston station. There were twenty five locos in the 66/6 sub class but six of these are now working in Poland.
