Most of Blackpool's trams seem to be in garish advertising liveries these days so it was nice to see Balloon double deck car 723 in Corporation Green and Cream, albeit this is one of the modified trams with modern bus windows installed to replace the originals. It is seen here on driver training duty, complete with L plates, heading north from Blackpool passing the Imperial Hotel on the elevated stretch of promenade south of Gynn Square. A new tram stop was later constructed at this point as part of the refurbishment of the tramway. See image 37614
