Kirkham and Wesham
A Peak hauled Summer Saturday train returns from Blackpool North, with Class 46 No. 46039, along the former four track section east of Kirkham. Although the Blackpool line is still busy today these lengthy trains of holiday makers are long gone. 46039 itself had only three months of service left before withdrawal and was cut up at Swindon in 1985.
