Kirkham and Wesham
331001, first of the Northern 3-car CAF EMUs, calls at Kirkham while working from Lime Street to Blackpool North on 28th September 2019. Whilst these new trains accelerate more rapidly than the Class 319s they don't have that classic whine from the traction motors - and the guard doesn't signal the driver with a good old fashioned bell!
