Lancaster Green Ayre

Formerly an overhead electrified rail route, Greyhound Bridge on the other Lancaster to Morecambe line closed to trains in 1966 and was soon converted for road traffic. This view from the site of Lancaster Green Ayre station, alongside the River Lune (at low tide), also shows the Castle and the Priory church on the hill behind.
