This was the first bridge on the the former CGU line to Haghill after leaving Parkhead Junction and heading north west. The substantial structure crossed the former Lightburn Road, which today acts as a shortcut between The Forge shopping centre (or Celtic Park on a match day) and Carntyne Road. Photographed on 2 April 2009 looking north east towards Carntyne. This is a sizeable bridge with a very wide trackbed floor - see 67291.
