Parkhead Junction [NB]
A class 26 rounds several empty scrap wagons on their way to Camlachie Scrapyard and is passed by a train for Airdrie at Parkhead North Junction in 1988. This box controlled the junction for the (then closed) line to Alexandra Parade, the NB sidings for the Parkhead Forge and Parkhead Shed (65C). The box was closed during the Yoker re-signalling scheme, preparations for which can be seen in the foreground. View looks west towards the former junction.
