Slitrig Viaduct

A pair of V2 2-6-2 locomotives double-head a heavy freight bound for Carlisle, photographed two miles south of Hawick in the winter of 1965/66. Locomotives are 60976 (leading) and 60868, both off St Margarets shed. The photograph was taken from a position only a matter of yards from BMcC image 22905 captured here the following year.
