New Lane
The Wigan to Southport line runs dead straight from Parbold to near Meols Cop, albeit undulating across the fertile West Lancashire farmland. In this view towards Bescar Lane and Southport, from the staggered platform at New Lane, 142038 runs through the station without stopping.
