Carnforth

A Pendoline speeds south past the still well used loops, and double slip crossing points at Carnforth in February 2009. On the left a small platform can be seen. This was Crag Bank Halt and was used for the steam shuttle passenger services when Steamtown was still open to the public. West Coast Railway Company stored stock can be seen in the private sidings and the old coaling tower stands beyond.
