Strensall

Although closed for nearly 80 years the intermediate stations between York and Malton have lots of infrastructure. In many cases this includes station buildings, platforms and mechanical signal boxes. The impressive box at Strensall still controls the level crossing by the former station, albeit by electrical rather than mechanical means and colour light signals in this case. View towards Malton.
