Hoole
Forty four years after the level crossing gates were last opened for trains this gate and its opposite number still stand across the trackbed at the site of Hoole station. However, little else remains of the station or the Preston to Southport line that closed completely in 1964. View south west towards Hesketh Bank. Map Ref
