Coal for Fleetwood Power Station, probably from Bickershaw or Golborne Colliery, trundles through Leyland in an unfitted train on the down fast line behind a split headcode Class 40 in 1981. In the background, wagons can be seen parked on the down slow in the station while the train engine shunts the goods yard. See image 21230
