Bathgate Shed
Looking through the gap between the metal doors into the old Bathgate shed on 31 July 2008, with track still visible on the left. The old shed had been vacated fairly recently, pending its forthcoming demolition, after many years of use by a building firm following its disposal by British Railways in 1964. I swear I could still detect a slight whiff of that evocative mixture of steam, grease, coal and..... I think I need a holiday...
