Maudlands Viaduct
47432 passes the site of Maudland Viaduct signalbox as it leaves the bridge and nears Preston on a Blackpool to Euston service in January 1981. The train is approaching the cutting and signal shown in See image 19011. The three tracks at this location (formerly four) were later reduced to two and by 2017 the area was being prepared for electrification.
