Rothesay Tramways

Introduction

Rothesay Tramways Company Ltd operated this double track electrified tramway from Rothesay Esplanade to Ettrick Bay, on the west side of the island of Bute, via Port Bannatyne. It was originally a horse operated tramway between Rothesay and Port Bannatyne.
