Introduction

Alterating deviations made by the Caledonian Railway and its predecessors which eliminated the cable-operated inclines of the original Dundee and Newtyle Railway.

Hatton to Newtyle

Newtyle [2nd]

This was a two platform station with a passing loop. The loop extended north west to Newtyle Junction. Trains from Dundee West divided here to continue to both Blairgowrie and Alyth.
