Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway

One of my favourite steam lines. Hopefully one day, it will once more link Cheltenham to Stratford, with help from Network Rail; who would be very happy to use it as a freight bypass for the Lickey Incline.

I like after dark best - especially with steam. But this was a diesel gala. It seems quite at home in its new location. The destination blind on this DMU at Toddington on 1 April 2012 says 'To The Pub' - maybe that's where they all went. Steam was off limits due to the hot and dry weather. I was on my way to see a Rover 100 and Austin Maestro among other stock at H.J.
