The local branch train for Tunbridge Wells West stands in the bay at Eridge, as a through service arrives at the platform to the left. Photographed from the signal box in March 1985, just 4 months before closure of the branch line. Much of the former branch is now in the hands of the Spa Valley Railway who plan to re-establish services over its whole length in the near future.
