Carrbridge derailment - day 6 [Railscot]

Date: 09/01/2010

Carrbridge derailment day 6 [from Gus Carnegie]. Network Rail have now got their crane started, after borrowing batteries from a local haulage firm. The Stobart containers are being placed in the field to the West of the station and Jimmy Jack also has 2 cranes on the job. Rumour about the locomotive is that they are to build a new access road in from the A9 and then bring in a 1000 tonne crane ... watch this space.
