Tram-train interchange cost doubles to £40m [The Scotsman]

THE final bill for a transport interchange at Gogar which would link Edinburgh-Fife trains with the Capital's tram project has doubled to £40 million, it was reported today

A new interchange station is to be built at Gogar in order that train passengers can change onto a tram to reach Edinburgh Airport. The photograph shows the 1241 ex-Waverley Fife Circle service running alongside the airport and crossing the River Almond on 26 June 2008 near the site of the former Turnhouse station (closed 1930).
