Dusk at Lancaster on Saturday 18th January 2020, but just enough light to capture four Freightliner 66s heading from Crewe to Carlisle New Yard. The locos were 66531, 66597, 66526 and 66510 and were probably rostered for engineering work the following day. 158905 on the left has worked in from Leeds and is waiting to head out to Morecambe.

Ex LMS 4-6-0s, Jubilee no.45562 ^Alberta^ and Royal Scot no.46115 ^Scots Guardsman^ had just returned to Lancaster with the WCRC Santa Special trip to Carlisle in the late afternoon of 24 November 2019. The Jubilee is believed to be 45699 ^Galatea^ in disguise and repainted into BR Brunswick Green, so new that you could still smell it!
