TESCO'S controversial demolition of a historic railway station in the West End of Glasgow may have been illegal, it was claimed last night.

The final nail in the coffin - this edifice has now sprung up right across the trackbed. The bridge in the left background carries the lines from Central and Queen Street Low Level stations to the new Partick Interchange.
