Network Rail is holding a drop-in information session on Tuesday 7 November to highlight plans for a new footbridge and lift system at Uddingston station.

An artist's impression of Uddingston with a new fully accessible footbridge. It will be an uncovered footbridge made of steel and is to be located approximately 25m to the west of the existing footbridge, which will be removed after the new one is installed. These works are supported by the governments Access for All scheme, with Transport Scotland, on behalf of the Department for Transport, identifying the station as one that would benefit from the funding.
