Not easy to photograph in the summer! Other than the short length of viaduct in Barrhead itself, the Aurs Burn Viaduct is probably the most substantial reminder of the former line. It is a large viaduct which carried a twin track over its six arches. A short life, and barely used, it opened to traffic in 1903 which ceased the 1940s.
