Longniddry Railway Station 'virtually inaccessible' for disabled boy [East Lothian Courier]

A Longniddry dad says that poor facilities at the village's station have made it 'virtually inaccessible' for his disabled 12-year-old son.

Gary Fegan has written to ScotRail to express concern about the disabled access at Longniddry Railway Station.

A North Berwick to Edinburgh service pulls into Longniddry on 25th July 2020. Until the 1920s Longniddry was nothing but a 'clachan', as it was described, and the John Menzies on the station was the only shop it had. It perhaps only got a station in the first place because it was a junction; it became a commuter magnet later on.
