Ayr Station Hotel: Final clock ticking to stop demolition [Ayr Advertiser]

Time is fast running out for hopes of saving Ayr's crumbling Station Hotel after councillors set the clock ticking on the buildings demolition. Councillors agreed unanimously to demolish the southern section of the dilapidated building in the event that the owner does not step in to make it safe.

As of 4th October the Station Hotel at Ayr has been wrapped in a sort of clingfilm, behind which there is a web of scaffolding. No more reliable information on what is happening but the Ayrshire Post has reported unverified rumours that the owners have disposed of it to another company that they control.
