Ardrossan North included in rail station reopening plans [Ardrossan Herald]

Date: 29/03/2022

Cumnock and Mauchline have been included in proposals to expand Scotland's rail network with the creation of 51 new stations. [As with many of the stations on the list, Ardrossan North would not be a re-opening but an entirely new station on an existing railway. The former Ardrossan North was on the closed Caledonian route. -RS]
