Fury over 'watered down' Glasgow railway electrification plans in Maryhill [Glasgow Times]

A local politician has hit out at Network Rail, accusing them of watering down proposals to electrify a key route.

An Anniesland to Queen Street service calls at Maryhill on 21 July 2018. This is the only intermediate station with any features. The indefatigable Gaelic translator of station names has rendered this as the equivalent of Mary's Hill when it is pretty well known that Maryhill is named after someone called Mary Hill.
