Date: 04/08/2021

A new art installation has taken centre stage at Glasgow Central Low Level station, thanks to a grant of almost £5,000 from the ScotRail Foundation Cultural and Arts Fund. The display ^Angled arm and hand signals^ pays homage to the heritage of the low level station, which sits on the site of the former Alston Street Theatre (1764-1780), and the tragic fire which destroyed the theatre.
