Haddington's 1930s bypass (today the A199) crossed over the line via this large concrete and steel viaduct on a skew, today with extra bracing. The view is to the terminus.

Looking north across Station Road, Haddington towards the station site on Boxing Day 2019. The covered access stairway to the high level platform was located beyond the shrubbery on the left, while the former carriage entrance opposite gives access to what is now Haddington Station Gardens. Note the railway-themed ornamental metalwork incorporated within the fencing along the front of the gardens. Haddington station closed to passengers in December 1949, with complete closure of the branch from Longniddry taking place in 1968.
