B1 no 61278 of Tay Bridge shed prepares to leave Dundee West station with the 4.35pm train for Perth in April 1958. The station was originally opened by the Dundee & Perth Railway as Dundee Union Street in 1847, becoming Dundee West in 1866. Closure came in 1965.
