Having found what may be the world's shortest standard gauge railway [see image 30642] we now have what could be the record for double track (look at the far end of the platforms, before the new factory building). This station on the Bedford - Cambridge line (whose name comes from its location adjacent to the former A1 road) is very well preserved - there is the main station building, a signal cabin, and a goods shed beyond - but, sadly, it will never see trains again.
