Pendolino arrives at Blackpool North ahead of introduction of electric services

The first Pendolino (and possibly the first of any type of electric traction) to reach Blackpool under its own power is seen on the return test run back to Preston at half past midnight on 15 May 2018. A second return trip was made later in the night. Hopefully all was well and electric services are now clear to commence operating from next Monday.
