A brand-new state-of-the-art ticket office and waiting area has opened at Blairhill train station. The new feature, which was part of £5m worth of investment into its facilities, opened to the public on October 31. The new facility replaces the existing ticket kiosk on the Blair Road bridge and feature a heated waiting area as well as an accessible ticket window and facilities for station staff. The building is located between the Glasgow-bound platform and the car park, right next to the dedicated parking bays for blue badge holders.
