Date: 21/06/2016

Hundreds of thousands of commuters are braced for travel chaos from this morning as a fourth 24-hour strike by train conductors cripples major rail routes into London. Commuters have been warned Southern trains will be cancelled and delayed across the south-east, including busy commuter routes into London Victoria, as the bitter dispute between the rail operator and the RMT union continues. Southern plans to change the role of the conductor but the RMT says this will reduce safety standards.
