One of the most remote stations in England has to be Berney Arms on the former Yarmouth & Norwich line in the midst of the Norfolk Broads. The short-platform request stop has no road access and is otherwise acessible by foot or by boat on the River Yare. The station was named after the land owner who sold the land to the Norwich & Yarmouth Railway Co.
