'Tornado' on flying visit to Didcot Railway Centre [ITV News]

An iconic steam engine named Tornado has been drawing in the crowds at Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire. The brand new locomotive is modelled on the original Class A1s which were scrapped half a century ago. After nearly twenty years of planning and construction - as well as fundraising £3 million - the new engine is now in operation on our main line and heritage railways. She was named Tornado by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
