Tain railway station in Easter Ross will receive a new lease of life today (11 November), as a new restaurant opens in its disused building thanks to the Station Community Regeneration Fund. The 'Platform 1864' restaurant was funded jointly by grants from Transport Scotland's Station Community Regeneration Fund and the Railway Heritage Trust.
