What at first glance might appear to be a super-length Commonwealth Games Special is in fact EMU 350402 entering through platform 15 at Manchester Piccadilly, with the 0900 Manchester Airport - Glasgow Central TransPennine Express service via Wigan, as a Virgin Pendolino runs across behind it into a Piccadilly stop end platform on arrival a few minutes late with the 06.55 ex Euston service.
