Date: 12/08/2014

There was a momentous occasion for the Llangollen Railway at the weekend with the arrival of a test train at the site of the new Corwen East station. A gauging train of three diesel railcars ventured west of Carrog, the railway’s current terminus, to check out the clearances at structures along the two and a half mile railway extension.
